Welcome to Youth Speaks Seattle!
We are the premier not-for-profit literary arts organization for youth serving Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region. Since 2002, we have offered first-class spoken word and poetry programming, including in-school and after-school writing workshops, performance opportunities, and teacher trainings.
- 2009 Seattle Youth Poetry Slam Series was a great success! We sold out Town Hall for our Grand Slam Finals. Thanks to all our sponsors, and a huge congratulations to all the finalists and the 2009 Seattle Youth Poetry Slam Team!
- Teen Writing Circles have now moved to Seattle Central Library, Thursdays 5-7pm.
